Handcrafted Instruments for a Living Tradition

To accompany the inaugural Phoenix Rising program, a limited number of handcrafted silver instrument sets — one teishin with a matching enshin — have been commissioned specifically for this course, with students of the seminar receiving $100 off the set. Each instrument is individually crafted using traditional silversmithing methods by a family of highly respected Navajo artisans, whose work reflects decades of experience, extraordinary precision, and deep respect for traditional craftsmanship.
While these are not Native American healing instruments, they beautifully demonstrate how exceptional craftsmanship can serve the preservation of another distinct healing tradition. The artisans have intentionally chosen to remain outside public marketing efforts, preferring to dedicate themselves quietly to their craft — and we are honored to respect that decision while celebrating the remarkable care and artistry reflected in every instrument they create.
